THE FISH EYE UNDER THE RAIN (MOMA – NY)

Nueva York, la gran manzana, la ciudad que nunca duerme, un increíble lugar donde encuentras todo lo que haz sonado y descubres algo Nuevo en cada rincón.

New York, the big apple, the city that never sleeps, an unbelievable place where you can find everything you love and discover new things every corner you visit.

Hace unos meses una de nosotras visito este gran ciudad y regreso con muchas aventuras e historias para contar , pero este post no es sobre los lugares a los que acostumbramos visitar cuando vamos a Nueva York, esta vez es sobre un lugar que encontramos en el MOMA, un lugar mágico, una verdadera experiencia. Algo difícil de describir, pero fácil de imaginarse y sentir.

A few months ago one of us went to this amazing city and came back with a lot of adventures and stories, but this is not about the the all the common places you visit when you are in NY, this time it is about a place we found at the MOMA, a magical place a really full experience, soothing difficult to describe but easy to imagine and feel.

Una fila de seis horas que valen la pena esperar, la “RAIN ROOM” por Random International. Basada en un campo del cual cae agua, y esta se pausa cuando detecta el cuerpo humano.

A six hours line worth waiting experience called the RAIN ROOM by Random International. Based on a field of falling water that pauses when the human body is detected.

Es sentir que puedes controlar la lluvia, es mágico, te lleva a actuar a contra luz creando efectos con las sombras y convirtiendo la sala en una atmosfera intima.

It’s feeling you can control the rain, it is magical it encourage you to perform against the lights, creating shadow effects and becoming in an intimate atmosphere.
